Level One: Subsurface. The scent of the dead greets you. Dare you descend deeper?

First issued prize in the fall of 2003. Not a prize favorite. Most players dislike the Monday Night Magic logo in the artwork. A popular prize due to the excellent alternative artwork.

Extremely popular due to the awesome alternative artwork. Most hated of all prizes. This is the card that inspired the lower artwork found on most other prizes. Another undesirable prize. The first six prizes were designed as a whim before any prize structure was in place.
